A photo says it all.

A very porky meal: pork neck, crispy pork belly, plums, Jack Daniels, and Sauerkraut (sour cabbage).

The sauce was almost like jam and for some reason it occurred to me that whiskey would go well with plums. The result: chunky, woody, sweet, delicious!
